FULL DAY WINERY VISITS

Spend the day deepening your knowledge of wine with one of our WSET-certified guides. A brief morning session leads into a winery visit with a chance to taste and compare several styles of wine. After a lunch at a restaurant on the banks of the Loire, we head to another winery with a chance to walk in the vineyards. Your guide (and perhaps the winemaker if available) will explain the soils and common vineyard practices, then you'll go into the winery and/or cellar and see how the grapes are transformed into wine. The tour will conclude with another guided tasting. 

• Morning: mini masterclass on the essentials of wine tasting
• visit to a nearby winemaker using troglodyte caves
• casual lunch at a riverside restaurant
• Second guided winery and vineyard visit
• drop off at the meeting point or LWA

This tour requires a minimum of 6 people and can accommodate a maximum of 12.
