The Loire Wine Academy offers wine courses and tasting sessions in English for wine-lovers from novice to expert. Our tutors are WSET Certified Instructors and holders of multiple wine diplomas, but our courses focus not on academics, but on practical learning through tasting and a fun, interactive manner.
Our most popular class is a deep-dive into the wines of Loire Valley wines, but our sparkling wine comparison course is a close second. Tasting skills and food & wine pairing are also offered. And since we specialize in small-group and private courses, we can adapt themes based on the wishes of the participants.
LEARN IN & OUT OF THE CLASSROOM
Sessions are offered primarily during school holiday periods and the summer tourism season, so you can learn while exploring one of France's best wine regions.
Sessions usually take place in the coooler, foggy mornings, leaving the sunny afternoons free to discover. We can reccommend/arrange wine tourism activities, to put your new knowledge right into action. We also host late afternoon sessions which can be combined with local cheese or food tastings.
