DEEPEN YOUR WINE KNOWLEDGE IN THE HEART OF ONE OF FRANCE'S TOP WINE REGIONS

It's common to be intimidated choosing a bottle in a restaurant, overwhelmed in a bottle shop, or lost in the depths of the wine world. The Loire Wine Academy offers courses that break down these barriers to understanding and enjoying wine.

We offer classes for wine-lovers from novice to expert, across a range of subjects from tasting skills to food pairing to Loire intensives.

LEARN IN & OUT OF THE CLASSROOM

Our programs are offered primarily in English, and often during school holiday periods and the summer tourism season. This allows overseas guests to take advantage of our courses while also exploring the stunning Loire Valley region.

Most of our shorter courses are offered in the mornings (when the weather is often foggy and cool), leaving the sunny afternoons free to discover the best spots in the region. We can help arrange afternoon wine tourism activities, allowing students to learn hands-on

in-addition to the classroom.

OUR EXPERT COURSES

Fine tune your palate, discover new wine and food pairing, or take a deep dive into a specific region or style. Our own custom-designed courses offer both the amateur and the adept ways to enrich their wine experiences via short sessions and masterclasses.
